Compressing a whole icon set at once

Most SVG compression is not one file. It is the thirty icons a design tool just exported. Drop the folder in and every file is queued, compressed with the same settings, and listed with its own before and after size, so you can see which ones actually had waste in them. Files that were already tight stay in the list with a small saving rather than disappearing. Selecting a subset applies settings to just those rows, which is how one batch can give flat icons the Maximum level and the one gradient-heavy illustration something gentler. Save all downloads the whole queue as a single ZIP.

How to compress multiple SVG files at once

  1. 1

Drop your SVGs, or click SELECT FILES, to add them to the queue. Up to 40 at a time.

  2. 2

Pick Safe, Balanced or Maximum, switch off any individual pass you do not want, and watch the saving per file update.

  3. 3

Click SAVE ALL to download the result, or a single ZIP when the queue holds more than one file.

Privacy: your files never leave your browser

Conversion runs locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. There is no file upload or server-side conversion, so the files you add stay on your device.

Local processing helps protect confidential logos, internal documents, and unreleased client artwork. Pages and conversion code are cached as you use them, so tools you have already opened can continue working without a network connection.

Frequently asked questions

How many SVGs can I compress at once?

Forty per session, the same limit every tool on this site uses. The work runs in a background worker so the page remains responsive, although processing time depends on the SVGs and your device. For more than forty, clear the queue and add the next batch; no account is required.

Do all the files have to use the same settings?

No. Settings apply to the current selection. With nothing selected they apply to every queued file; select three rows and only those three change. Each row keeps its own settings until you change them again, so a mixed batch of icons and illustrations can be compressed in one pass without treating them alike.

What do I get when I download?

One file downloads as a single .svg under its original name. Two or more download as a ZIP, so a batch of forty icons is one click and one file, with every name preserved exactly as it came in. Save selected does the same thing for just the rows you have selected.
